Gustavo Machado Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Moultrie

One month down…

So our first month of training is coming to a close, and I feel like we got a lot of good ground covered and have begun to lay a solid foundation.

Everyone is working hard and is progressing nicely. I love seeing smiling, sweaty faces at the end of the training sessions. Wanting to stay late for extra grappling rounds must mean we’re having a good time.

The intensity of the work is going to start it’s uptick in the coming weeks as folks get more familiar with and adapted to the mulitplanar movements that are required in jiu-jitsu. Asking those small support muscles wake up and do jobs that we’ve never asked them to do before is tough work, but we’re getting there.

I’d like to thank the many folks who have visited us from other schools. You guys are a bigger help than you realize in that you all set positive examples for what we’re looking to achieve. Really, it means a lot.

The plan? To keep showing up, and keep doing the work. Everything else will take care of itself.
